It was a fine day for "smelling mushrooms"... and
the burn of small electric motors! The 5th race of the 2001/2002
season took place a the fast and furious HOckessin Raceway.
Ok we keep saying the competition is tight, well the numbers
say it all. Look closely!
Of course the hosting family did their usual good showing in
the finish, but they're also gracious hosts. The track is a
fast and deceiving one, lots of straights where a top speed
car is needed, but then out of nowhere you need BRAAAKES!!!!
The day went extremely well, a new format waas utilized and
seemed to be accepted by the racers. It's the feeling that everyone
walked away relieved it was over as the battle was rough, but
satisfied they'd spent a good deal of their day racing with
some great competitors!
