| HOckessin Raceway is the fourth track in the Vintage
HO Racing Series, and the second new track of the 2000-2001 season. HOckessin
Raceway is owned by John Hoopes, and it is the longest circuit in the
series (over 100' lap length). The track sits on an 18' table, and
has a straight-away that runs the entire length. A car must traverse
the length of the table no less than four times to complete a lap. All
that back and forth can cause confusion if the racer loses concentration.
While there is a tremendous amount of straight track on this table,
there are also some cleverly placed curves that are a lot tighter than
you might expect. A fast car is a necessity here, but it'll have
to stick pretty good too in order to succeed. Check out the links
below for a track tour and race results. |
