Saturday is race day! Morning until Evening. If you haven't already been added to the qualifying list, be sure to speak to the man with the clip-board and get your name on the list! Your cars Teched In before racing. After being Teched In, your name will be added ot the bottom of the qualifying list.

Sunday: Reserve Day : TBA

(top)

Reserve day for spillover from Saturday, if needed. Opening time and race times determined on Saturday.

Race Specifics: (subject to change, possibly)

(top)

Each racer will be placed into groups of 4, based on "qualifying".
Top on the list of the 4 will pick a starting lane.
This will be his/her starting lane for the day.
The first group will get on "track one" and run all 4 lanes for 2 or 3 min heats.

When completed, the drivers move on to the next table for the IROC style race.

The IROC Race, will have racers run on all 4 lanes, same as the prior race.
The racers will then move onto the last table and run all 4 lanes at 10 laps a piece races for points.
When completed, the racers will then Marshal this table for the next race, then move onto the next and so forth.
This way each group of 4 racers will run 3 tables and then marshal 3 tables, making it fair for all.

The car you start the race with is the car you must finish with unless circumstances are such that a swap is allowed. In other words, no swapping cars each lane.

ANY ties will be won by crash and burn  first to 3 laps or last to crash. This will be the final word on ties.

Team Competition: (subject to change, possibly)

(top)

***Teams wanting to compete, MUST send in their race fee for the event paid IN FULL by August 30, 2002 to reserve a slot for the team event!! ***

Teams will consist of 4 or 5 members each.
Teams will draw from a hat which table and lane they will start in.
The teams will line up, each member of the team will run the same lane before the team moves on. The races will be 10 lap heats, again for points.
Once all teams have completed a full rotation in a lane, the teams will switch lanes.
If your the last team on a table, your team will move to the next table and start there.
ALL teams will run ALL lanes on ALL tables in a rotating order.

The car you start the race with is the car you must finish with unless circumstances are such that a swap is allowed. In other words, no swapping cars each lane.

Team with the most points wins.

Note: Teams consisting of 4 members will need to rotate each team member through a second evolution per lane. Thusly the 5th man position will be covered ONCE by each team member of a 4 man team.

Note: Anyone wishing to participate in the team event yet attends the race without a team may be subject to participating in a "last minute" team consisting of other participants who arrived without a team!
